What Is the Estimate Widget?
The Estimate Widget is an embeddable calculator that lets website visitors get an instant price estimate for your services. It captures their contact information and creates a lead in your CRM automatically.
How it works: Visitors select a service, enter details (like property size or job scope), and receive a ballpark estimate. Their contact details are captured so you can follow up.
Where to find it: Go to Service templates in the sidebar, then click Widget settings.
Lead creation: Every widget submission creates a new customer record with the visitor's name, email, phone, address, and the estimate details.
Embedding on Your Website
Add the estimate calculator to any website by copying an embed code or linking directly to your hosted widget page.
- Go to Service templates > Widget settings.
- Enable the widget and configure which services to include.
- Copy the embed code (an iframe snippet) or the direct link.
- Paste the embed code into your website's HTML where you want the calculator to appear.
Tip: Place the widget on your homepage or a dedicated "Get a Quote" page for maximum visibility. You can also share the direct link on social media or in emails.
Configuring Services & Pricing
Control which services appear in the widget and how prices are calculated.
Selecting services: In Widget settings, toggle which of your service templates are available in the widget. Only enabled services are shown to visitors.
Flat-rate pricing: Set a fixed price for a service regardless of property size or other variables. Best for standardized services like a basic inspection or consultation.
Variable pricing: Define pricing that scales based on input (e.g., square footage, number of rooms, or property size). The widget calculates the estimate dynamically as the visitor enters details.
Minimum and maximum: Set floor and ceiling prices so the widget never shows unreasonably low or high estimates.
AI-Powered Property Analysis
The widget supports AI-powered analysis where customers can upload a photo of their property and receive a more accurate estimate based on what the AI detects.
Photo upload: Visitors can upload a photo of their property, yard, or area that needs service.
AI analysis: ServeHub's AI examines the photo to estimate property characteristics like size, condition, and scope of work needed.
Better estimates: The AI-derived data is combined with your pricing rules to produce a more accurate quote than manual input alone.
Tip: Encourage customers to upload a clear, overhead photo of their property for the most accurate AI analysis. Satellite or drone images work especially well.
Customer Capture & Lead Creation
Every widget submission captures the visitor's contact information and creates a lead in your CRM for follow-up.
Required fields: The widget collects the visitor's name, email, phone number, and service address before showing the estimate.
Automatic lead: A new customer record is created in ServeHub with all the submitted details, including the estimated price and selected service.
Notification: You receive an email notification for each new widget submission so you can follow up promptly.
Convert to estimate: From the customer record, you can create a full detailed estimate to send to the lead with one click.
