Upgrading & Downgrading
Change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
- Open the sidebar and click your business name, then select Plans & Billing.
- Review the available plans and click Upgrade or Downgrade on the plan you want.
- Confirm the change. For upgrades, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.
Prorated billing: When upgrading mid-cycle, you only pay the difference for the remaining days. No double-charging.
Downgrade timing: When downgrading, you keep your current plan features until the end of the billing period. The lower plan starts on the next cycle.
Document limits: If you downgrade to a plan with lower limits, existing documents are preserved but you may not be able to create new ones until you are within the new plan's limits.
Managing Your Subscription & Billing Portal
Manage your payment method, view invoices, and update billing details from the billing portal.
- Go to Plans & Billing from the sidebar.
- Click Manage billing to open the Stripe-hosted billing portal.
- From the billing portal you can update your credit card, view past invoices, and download receipts.
Payment method: Update your credit card or switch payment methods at any time through the billing portal.
Billing history: All past charges and receipts are available for download. Useful for bookkeeping and tax purposes.
Cancel subscription: You can cancel your paid plan from the billing portal. Your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the current billing period.
Tip: Keep your payment method up to date to avoid service interruptions. ServeHub will notify you before any charge fails.
