Plans & Billing
Available Plans
New accounts choose between two plans, Plus and Pro, billed monthly or yearly. Both start with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start, and it is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Every plan includes unlimited customers, unlimited team members, unlimited estimates and invoices, and a real website you can publish live.
During the trial: You get everything in ServeHub, whichever plan you picked. When the trial ends, the plan you picked applies. ServeHub emails you 3 days before that, with the plan and the price.
Plus ($20/month or $218/year): Everything to run jobs and get paid — estimates, e-signatures, scheduling, the job board, invoicing, and one-tap card payments, with unlimited team members. Your website can run on your own custom domain (yourbusiness.com, with free SSL), and search engines can index it. Plus also includes SMS reminders and notifications, and AI tools — the AI phone assistant and the AI invoice template builder.
Pro ($55/month or $600/year): Everything in Plus, plus multi-page local SEO (a page for every service and every service × city), an AI chat assistant on your public website, unlimited instant quotes from the estimate widget, and reusable service templates.
Free plan ($0, older accounts only): Accounts created before the card-required trial keep the Free plan they have. New accounts can't choose it. It has everything to run jobs and get paid, and a real website you can edit as often as you like. Its site is served at its servehub.co address and is not submitted to search engines.
What Is Included in Each Tier
Here is a summary of the key features and limits for each plan.
Customers & documents: All plans include unlimited customers, estimates, and invoices — there are no document limits on any tier.
Team members: All plans include unlimited team members with role-based access. There are no per-seat fees, and teammates you invite never need a card of their own.
Automation: SMS reminders and AI tools (the AI phone assistant and the AI invoice template builder) are on Plus and Pro.
Website: Plus and Pro build and publish your website, with your own custom domain and indexing by search engines. Multi-page local SEO and the AI chat assistant on your public website are on Pro. A Free plan account publishes at its servehub.co address.
AI website editor: Editing your site by chat is on every plan, up to 200 chat edits a month on Plus, 1,000 on Pro, and 25 on the Free plan. Editing by hand doesn't count toward the limit, and the limit resets each month.
Filling in your site: Fill in from my details in the website builder writes the basics from your business name, trade, address, phone and catalog. It costs nothing on any plan, doesn't count toward your chat edits, and never changes what you wrote.
Growth tools: Reusable service templates are on Pro, and so is the Service templates page where you set up the estimate widget (it is open during the trial). The widget itself runs on every plan. On Plus and the Free plan it gives 5 instant quotes in total; after that it still saves each lead but doesn't price it. On Pro, instant quotes are unlimited.
Payments: Stripe Connect for one-tap card payments is available on all plans.
Tip: Start with the 14-day free trial to explore everything in ServeHub. A card is required to start. You are not charged until it ends, you can cancel anytime before then, and you can change plans as your business grows without losing any data.
Upgrading & Downgrading
Change your plan at any time. Upgrades and downgrades both take effect immediately, and the price difference is prorated.
- Click your name in the sidebar, then select Billing.
- Choose monthly or yearly, then click Switch to Plus or Switch to Pro.
- Confirm the change. It applies right away.
Prorated billing: When you change plans mid-cycle, the difference for the days left in your billing period goes on your next invoice: an upgrade adds to it, and a downgrade credits it.
Downgrade timing: A downgrade starts as soon as you confirm it. It does not wait for the end of your billing period.
During the trial: Switching plans changes the plan that applies when the trial ends. Nothing is charged until then.
Moving up from the Free plan: Click Choose Plus or Choose Pro on the Billing page. The trial is for new accounts, so billing starts when you subscribe.
Feature access: Your data is always preserved when you change plans. Features the lower plan doesn't include turn off as soon as you downgrade.
Managing Your Subscription & Billing Portal
Manage your payment method and view invoices from the billing portal.
- Click your name in the sidebar, then select Billing.
- Click Manage billing to open the Stripe-hosted billing portal.
- From the billing portal you can update your credit card, pay an invoice that is due, view past invoices, and download receipts.
Payment method: Update your credit card or switch payment methods at any time through the billing portal.
If a payment fails: Your account keeps working and your website stays online while the charge is retried, for up to 21 days. You get an email, and a banner in ServeHub with a button to update your card. If the card still can't be charged, your account goes read-only and your website goes offline until it can. Nothing is deleted.
Billing history: All past charges and receipts are available for download. Useful for bookkeeping and tax purposes.
Cancel subscription: Click Cancel subscription on the Billing page. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your trial or paid period: you keep access until then, you are not charged again, and Keep subscription undoes it if you change your mind. After that date your account becomes read-only and your website goes offline until you resubscribe. Accounts created before the card-required trial go back to the Free plan instead, and their website stays live at its servehub.co address. Nothing is deleted, the sign and pay links your customers already have keep working, and you can resubscribe anytime. If your last payment failed there is no paid period left, so cancelling takes effect at once and stops any more attempts to charge your card.
Tip: Keep your payment method up to date to avoid service interruptions. If a payment fails, ServeHub emails you, and you keep access for up to 21 days while Stripe retries the card.
