Team Members & Roles

Inviting Team Members

Add employees and office staff to your ServeHub account so they can access the dashboard, get assigned to jobs, and appear on your schedule.

  1. Go to Business settings and open the Team tab.
  2. Click Invite team member.
  3. Enter their name, email address, and select a role.
  4. Click Send invite. They will receive an email with a link to create their account.

Tip: Team members who have not yet accepted their invite will appear with a "Pending" badge. You can resend the invite or revoke it from the Team tab.

Roles & Permissions

Each team member is assigned a role that controls what they can see and do in ServeHub. Choose the role that matches their responsibilities.

Owner: Full access to everything including billing, subscription management, and the ability to delete the business account. There is one owner per account.

Admin: Full access to customers, estimates, proposals, contracts, jobs, invoices, and team management. Admins cannot manage billing or delete the account.

Employee: Can view assigned jobs, update job status, upload photos, add notes, and log expenses. Employees cannot access estimates, proposals, invoices, or business settings.

Removing Team Members

When someone leaves your team, remove their access to keep your account secure. Their historical data (job assignments, notes, photos) is preserved.

  1. Go to Business settings and open the Team tab.
  2. Find the team member you want to remove.
  3. Click the menu icon and select Remove from team.
  4. Confirm the removal. The person will immediately lose access to your account.

Tip: Before removing someone, reassign their upcoming jobs to another team member so nothing falls through the cracks.
