ServeHub vs Housecall Pro
Looking for a Housecall Pro alternative? Try ServeHub.
Housecall Pro and ServeHub both target home-service businesses, but the pricing model and what's included on each plan are very different. Here's a clear side-by-side so you can make a confident call.
14-day free trial · card required · cancel anytime · unlimited users
Housecall Pro is a well-known, full-featured field service management platform with a strong consumer-facing brand. ServeHub takes a different approach: unlimited team members on every plan — you are never billed per technician — AI tools that come with your plan instead of as a paid add-on, plus free public tools (invoice, estimate, and contract generators). ServeHub does have plans, and some features sit on the higher one, but the size of your crew is never what you pay for.

Where ServeHub pulls ahead
No per-seat pricing, on any plan
Housecall Pro's plans include a set number of users (1, 5 or 8), and its Max plan adds $35 a month for each user past that. ServeHub never charges per user: every plan allows unlimited team members. You pick a plan for the features you want, not for the size of your crew — the fifth tech and the fifteenth cost you nothing.
AI shipped, not sold separately
An AI voice agent, AI content generation for estimates, and AI-assisted follow-ups all come with your ServeHub plan — no separate AI module, no per-message upsell. The AI tools are included in your plan, never billed on top of it. Housecall Pro lists its CSR AI as an add-on.
Recurring billing on both plans
Customer subscriptions and recurring invoices are on both ServeHub plans. Housecall Pro lists recurring service plans on its Max plan only.
Customer-facing website included
Every ServeHub business gets a public website at /site/your-token, filled in from its own details and fully editable, with hosting included. No Wix/Squarespace bill, no separate web designer.
Where Housecall Pro still has an edge
Housecall Pro has been the household name in the home-service space for years and has a deeper integration catalog (QuickBooks Online on its Essentials and Max plans, several niche industry tools). They also have a well-developed marketing-automation product and a customer financing offer through Wisetack. If your workflow leans heavily on those specific integrations or financing flow, that's a fair reason to look closely. ServeHub's integration list is much shorter today: Stripe for card payments, plus email and SMS delivery. A QuickBooks Online sync is built but still in development and not available to customers yet, so don't pick ServeHub for it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I migrate from Housecall Pro to ServeHub?
Yes, though be aware ServeHub has no bulk importer today. Housecall Pro lets you export customers, jobs, and invoices as CSV — export it for your own records, then add your active customers in ServeHub as you work; the rest arrive on their own as leads from your website, estimate widget and AI phone assistant. You can be sending estimates the same day and let the back catalogue fill in over time. Free onboarding support is included.
Is ServeHub cheaper than Housecall Pro?
On published prices, yes. Housecall Pro lists $59, $149 and $299 a month on annual billing, for 1, 5 and 8 users, with add-ons on top. ServeHub is $20 or $55 a month for your whole team. ServeHub has plans too, and some features sit on the higher one, but users are never one of them: every plan allows unlimited team members, so your bill doesn't move when you hire.
Does ServeHub work for plumbers, HVAC, electrical, and other home services?
Yes. ServeHub is built for the full range of field-service trades. Trade-specific landing pages (electricians, plumbers, HVAC, roofers, cleaning, painters, and more) show how each workflow fits.
What about QuickBooks?
A QuickBooks Online sync is built but still in development — it is not available to customers yet, and we won't promise a date. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. If QuickBooks Online matters to you today, Housecall Pro has a working sync on its Essentials and Max plans, and that's the honest answer.
Does ServeHub support customer financing like Wisetack?
No. Customer financing is not included: ServeHub has no financing partner and no financing integration, and we won't promise one. If financing is a critical part of your sales motion today, Housecall Pro offers it through Wisetack and that's the honest answer.
